Applying AI (Run AI Feature)

Introduction

The Run AI feature in FP Studio helps users refine, enhance, and generate text effortlessly. It allows AI to improve readability, adjust tone, restructure content, or generate new sections based on user input.

This guide explains how to use the Run AI feature to enhance storytelling with minimal effort.

How to Use the Run AI Feature

Step 1: Open the Editor

Navigate to the Editor and select the section of text you want AI to enhance. The AI tool can be applied to a selected paragraph, chapter, part, or the entire project.

Step 2: Select the Scope for AI Assistance

When you click Run AI, a pop-up appears, allowing you to choose which part of the story the AI should refine.

• Selected Paragraph – AI enhances a specific highlighted portion of the text.
• Chapter – The AI refines or restructures the entire chapter.
• Live Event (Part) – The AI applies improvements to a larger story section.
• The Whole Project – AI suggests refinements for the entire story.

Step 3: Provide a Prompt

After selecting the scope, you can enter a custom AI prompt to guide the enhancement.

Examples of AI prompts:

• "Make this passage more emotional and descriptive."
• "Adjust the writing style to be more nostalgic."
• "Rewrite this section in a more engaging and conversational tone."
• "Improve the grammar and flow of this chapter."

Once the prompt is entered, the system calculates the required AI tokens (displayed below the input field).

Step 4: Run AI and Review the Changes

Click Run AI to generate the enhanced text. The AI will refine the content based on your prompt and display the changes in the Editor.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

AI-generated content doesn’t match my intent

• Try rewording your prompt to be more specific.
• Use multiple AI runs with smaller refinements instead of one large edit.

Run AI is disabled or not responding

• Ensure you have enough AI tokens available.
• Refresh the page and try again.

The refined text removed important details

• You can restore the original content using the Undo button.
