Introduction
The Dashboard is the central hub of FP Studio, where users can manage all their storytelling projects. It provides an organized view of ongoing and completed stories, making it easy to create, edit, and track progress.
This guide will help you understand the key sections of the Dashboard, how to start a new project, and how to navigate between different features.
Overview of the Dashboard
When you log in to FP Studio, you are taken directly to the Dashboard. This page displays all your projects, allowing you to manage your stories efficiently.

Key Areas of the Dashboard
My Projects Section
This section lists all the stories you’ve created or collaborated on. Each project is represented as a card containing:
- Project Title – The name of the story.
- Story Type – The storytelling format (e.g., autobiography, fiction, shared event).
- Project Status – Indicates whether the project is Open, In Progress, or Completed.
Click on any project card to open it in the Editor and continue working on your story.

Search Bar
The search bar at the top allows you to quickly find a specific project by typing its name. This is useful when managing multiple stories.
New Project Button
The + New Project button in the top-right corner lets you start a new storytelling project. Clicking this button will take you to the project setup page, where you can enter details like title, story type, and main character(s).

Project Options Menu
Each project card has a three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner, providing additional actions:
- Rename the project
- Reset the project
Troubleshooting Common Issues
I can't see my projects on the Dashboard
- Ensure you're logged into the correct account.
- Refresh the page to load recent updates.
I accidentally deleted a project. Can I recover it?
- Deleted projects cannot be restored, so always double-check before deleting.
I can't start a new project
- Check if you've reached the maximum project limit (for free accounts).
- Try clearing your browser cache or using a different device.
