Introduction

Starting a new story in FP Studio is a simple and guided process. The platform helps users set up their story by choosing a format, defining main characters, selecting a narrative structure, and adding inspiration. This guide walks through the steps to create a new story, from selecting a format to configuring story details.


Step 1: Choose a Story Format

The first step in creating a new story is selecting the right story format. Each format determines the length, structure, and customization options available.

Click Select to proceed to the next step.



Step 2: Name Your Story & Add Main Characters

After selecting a format, the next step is naming the project and defining key characters.

Configuring Project Details:

  • Project Name – Choose a title that reflects the theme of your story (e.g., Memories from My Childhood).
  • Main Character(s) – Enter the names of the key figures in your story. Click + Add main character to include additional individuals.

Click Continue to save and move to the next section.



Step 3: Define Your Story Framework

The story framework helps shape the structure, perspective, and tone of your narrative.

Setting Up the Story Framework:

  • Story Format – Select from Autobiography, Biography, Fictional Story, or Historical Account.
  • Storyteller POV – Choose First Person (I/me) or Third Person (he/she/they).
  • Writing Style – Pick up to three tones that define the mood (e.g., Nostalgic, Dramatic, Funny).

Click Continue to apply these settings.



Step 4: Add Key Takeaways & Inspirations

In this step, users can define the core messages and inspirations that will guide their story.

Setting Up Key Elements:

  • Main Takeaways – Enter up to three key life lessons or messages that readers should remember.
  • Inspiration – Add books, movies, or themes that influence the story’s style.


Click Start Your Project to finalize the setup.
