How to Create an Account in Vona?

Creating a Vona account is the first step toward preserving your story in a meaningful way. The process is simple and fast—and designed for anyone to get started in minutes.

Step 1: Open the Sign-Up Page

• On desktop? Click Here 

• On your phone? Vona has a mobile-first platform. Click Here

Once you're on the correct site for your device, locate the Don't have an account? Sign up button.

Step 2: Enter Your Details

Once on the sign-up page, you'll be prompted to enter your basic information:

• Full Name – Your name as it will appear on your profile.
• Email Address – This will be your login credential and primary contact for updates.
• Password – Choose a secure password (at least 8 characters with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols).

After filling in the details, click Create Account to proceed.

Step 3: Verify Your Email

Check your inbox for a confirmation email from For Posterity. It will include a Verify Email button.

If you don’t see it:

• Check your Spam or Junk folder
• Click Resend Email on the sign-up screen

Once verified, you'll be automatically logged into your Dashboard.

Step 4: Access the Vona Dashboard

After email verification, you’ll land in your Dashboard where you can:

• Start a new story
• Record or upload content
• Use the Editor or Interviewer Tool
• Invite collaborators

Troubleshooting

"I didn't receive the verification email"

• Check your Spam or Junk folder.
• Click Resend Email on the verification page.
• Make sure you entered the correct email address during sign-up.

"I forgot my password"

• On the Login Page, click Forgot Password.
• Enter your email and follow the instructions to reset your password.

"I can't log in after verifying my email"

• Ensure you’re using the correct email and password.
• Try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser.
• If the issue persists, contact Vona Support for assistance.
