Deleting Your Data Upon Request

Introduction

At For Posterity, we value your privacy and are committed to complying with data protection regulations, including GDPR. If you wish to have your personal data permanently removed from our system, you can request deletion at any time.

This article explains what data is stored, what will be deleted upon request, and how to submit a deletion request.

Data types held in the system?

Basic Information

The following personal details are stored in your account and can be deleted upon request:

• Name
• Last Name
• Email Address
• Phone Number
• Password (securely encrypted)

Related Information

If you have uploaded content to FP Studio, all associated data will also be deleted, including:

• Uploaded files (documents, images, media)
• Stories and transcripts
• Photos and recordings
• Project-related content

Behavioral Information

For Posterity tracks user interactions to improve platform functionality. This includes:

• Usage patterns (e.g., how often you log in, features used)
• Engagement data (e.g., time spent on different sections)
• Feedback interactions

Upon deletion, all behavioral data will be removed from our database.

How to Request Data Deletion

To delete your data, send an email to [support@forposterity.com] with the subject line:
Request to Delete My Data

In your email, include:

• Your registered email address
• A confirmation statement, such as:
  “I request the permanent deletion of my personal data and all associated content from For Posterity.”

What Happens Next?

• Once your request is received, For Posterity will delete all associated data from our database in compliance with GDPR regulations.
• You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
• This process is irreversible—once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
