Overview

Setting up an eBook in For Posterity's Production is a simple process that transforms your written project into a professionally formatted digital book. This guide will walk you through accessing the eBook production environment, selecting a project, and starting the production process.

Step 1: Navigating to the Production Section

To begin, you need to access the Production Dashboard, where all your story projects are managed and converted into final products.

1. Log into For Posterity Studio and click on the Production tab in the top navigation bar.
2. This will take you to the Production Dashboard, where you can see all ongoing and completed production projects.

Step 2: Starting a New eBook Production

If you’re working on a new story and need to start its production, follow these steps:

1. Click on the + New Production button located at the top right of the screen.
2. A popup will appear prompting you to choose a project.
3. From the dropdown menu, select the project you want to produce as an eBook.
4. If you haven’t created a project yet, click Create New Project, and follow the steps to set up your story.
5. Once your project is selected, click Start to move to the next step.

Step 3: Choosing the eBook Format

After selecting your project, you will be prompted to choose the type of production.

1. If your account has available production credits, you can proceed immediately.
2. If payment is required, the system will display the price. Click Buy and Start to proceed.
3. Once confirmed, you will enter the eBook Production Setup.
